On 14 June 2024, Vulindlela Educational Trust, in collaboration with the Department of Education in Tsomo led by Mr. Kunene, hosted a highly impactful Career Awareness Campaign at Gobinamba S.S.S and Tsomo S.S.S. Learners from various high schools came together for a day filled with inspiration and guidance.
We were privileged to have representatives from esteemed tertiary institutions, including Sol Plaatje University, King Hintsa TVET College, the University of Fort Hare, and Walter Sisulu University. Presenters provided valuable insights on applying for NSFAS, the importance of being computer literate, and the wide range of opportunities available at both universities and TVET colleges. They emphasized the importance of aiming high and not letting one’s background define their future.
